These two barely compete. Ylopo is an advertising engine that produces new leads. Substrait is a conversion engine that works the ones already in your CRM.
If your database is empty, buy the lead source first. If it holds thousands of contacts nobody has touched in a year, convert those before you pay for more.
Two different jobs, side by side.
| Substrait | Ylopo (rAIya) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is for | Converting the database you own | Generating new leads with paid ads |
| Where the AI runs | Inside the CRM you already use | Ylopo’s own platform, beside your CRM |
| Advertising budget | None. It spends nothing | The engine it feeds |
| Who the lead hears from | Your agent, by name | rAIya, a named AI |
| Channels | Text and email | Text and voice |
| Setup fee | None | Charged, amount not published |
| Price at 5,000 contacts | $179 a month, published | Quote only |
| Where you find the number | On the pricing page | From a demo or their calculator |
| Past clients and your sphere | Encore™. Anniversaries, birthdays, your own market page | Not offered |
Substrait prices are the founding-member rate, 40 percent off list, held for as long as you stay. Ylopo does not publish rates. Everything in their column comes from their own pricing page, read 29 August 2026, which says the number depends on your market, database size and headcount.
What each one actually is.
Ylopo is a lead generation platform. It runs Facebook and Google advertising for your team, sends the responses into a branded search site, and follows up on them with rAIya, their AI assistant. rAIya works those leads by text and voice on Ylopo’s platform, layered on top of whatever CRM your team already runs. The advertising budget is yours and it is separate from what you pay them.
Substrait is an AI ISA that runs inside your existing CRM account. It reads the lead record your agents already look at, decides the next move, and sends from your office’s own number, in your agent’s name. It buys no advertising and adds no contacts. Every lead it works is one you already paid for. It runs Sierra Interactive and Follow Up Boss today.
Ylopo pricing is a quote. Ours is a page.
Their tiers are public and their rates are not. Ours are on the pricing page in full, with no form in front of them.
| Substrait | Ylopo | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly rate | $179 to $1,079 by database size | Not published |
| Setup or onboarding fee | None | Not published |
| Advertising spend | None | Separate, and on top |
| Is the AI included | Yes | Text on every tier, voice from the middle tier up |
| How you get a number | Read the pricing page | Book a demo or run their calculator |
Their reasoning is on their pricing page and it is a fair one: a single posted rate would overcharge some teams and undercharge others. It does mean the only way to compare is to get a quote. Third parties publish estimates that disagree with each other by several hundred dollars a month, so we are not going to repeat a number we cannot source. Ask them, then come back and read ours.
Three questions worth answering first.
This is not really a head to head. It is a question about which end of your funnel is actually the problem.
If nothing new is coming in, more advertising is the honest answer and Ylopo is good at it.
If you have thousands of contacts and no one has spoken to most of them this year, buying more leads adds to a pile nobody is working. That pile is what Substrait is for.
Advertising stops producing the day the budget stops. That is the nature of it, not a criticism.
The database you already own does not expire. Work stops when you cancel, but the contacts and the conversation history stay in your CRM, because that is where they lived the whole time.
rAIya runs on Ylopo’s platform, layered on top of the CRM your team already logs into.
Substrait has no interface for your agents to learn. It works inside the record they already open, and the notes it writes land on the timeline they already read.
When Ylopo is the right buy.
When you have no lead source at all. Ylopo is an excellent Facebook and Google advertising machine. If nothing is coming in the door, that is the problem to solve first, and we do not solve it.
When you want the brand presence too. The search site, the retargeting and the ad creative are a real product. Substrait has no opinion about any of that and never will.
Honestly, when you want both. rAIya exists to work the leads Ylopo’s ads produce. Substrait works everything already sitting in the CRM. They are arguably complementary rather than competitive, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
